The activity aimed to promote the spirit of bayanihan and encourage life-saving contributions from volunteers. It was participated in by DSWD personnel, partner agencies, and local stakeholders who generously donated blood in support of communities in need.

Today, a total of 42 blood bags were collected through the volunteers who dedicated their time andย supported this cause. Truly, generosity saves lives.

Alongside the drive, the DRMD also showcased its programs, services, and key initiatives through a DRRM exhibit. The display featured informative materials on disaster preparedness, emergency response mechanisms, and the officeโ€™s efforts in strengthening community resilience across the MIMAROPA region.

The event served as a platform to raise awareness on disaster risk reduction and emphasized the crucial role of coordinated humanitarian response. DSWD MIMAROPA extends its heartfelt gratitude to all partners and donors who helped make the activity a success.
